2 months agoThis is my favorite place to eat, whether alone or with friends. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing! I have not found one bad thing on the menu. Daily specials are great! The baklava cheesecake is awesome. I have been here often in the last three years since the โnewโ owners took over. In that time, I have never had a bad experience. It makes me wonder if the people who leave bad reviews just have an axe to grind unrelated to the restaurant itself.

3 weeks agoI had no idea that I loved Greek food! I Loved everything I tried here. The waitress was attentive and happy to give us recommendations. All of the hummus were delicious, especially the pepper hummus. They have a lovely little outdoor seating area. I will definitely be back!

2 months agoWow!! What a great cozy restaurant. If your in the mood for authenic Greek dishes, this is the place. Steller service from the time you get there until you leave. The waitstaff is so caring and helpful. The food is amazing and seasoned perfectly. Had the gyro platter, lamb souvlaki, and the chicken souvlaki. They are all so yummy. Also had the baklava and the strawberry rum cake. So wonderful and super tasty. Also super impressed that the owner stopped by and asked how our meal was, and thanked us for choosing his restaurant to eat at. Highly recommend this for some authenic Greek dishes, and fantastic service to go along!!

a month agoI love meeting friends at this family owned hidden gem for lunch, especially when its cool enough to sit outside on their patio. My favorite menu item is their Greek Chef's Salad with gyro meat. Just look at my photo. Go ahead, look at it. Would you just look at it? Hard boiled egg, mixed greens, tomatoes, red bell pepper, kalamata olives, red onion, cucumber, topped with a house vinaigrette and generous portions of protein, shaved parmesan and grated feta, flanked by pita wedges so soft and fresh, you'd swear you just swam ashore to Thessaloniki after shipwrecking in the Thermaic Gulf. The staff has always been friendly and attentive over the decade or so that I've been a customer. You really have to experience it for yourself.

7 months agoSo, my wife and I wanted Greek for dinner. Weโd normally go to the Phoenician Cafe on Gilbert Road, but we wanted to try something new. After looking around on Google maps and reading reviews, we landed on this gem. We arrived around 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, and the place was mildly busy. We were greeted right away and headed to their shaded outdoor patio. The overhead fans kept it cool enough to be enjoyable, and the trees all around were a nice touch. We started with wine and the Pesto Caprese Bruschetta which was quite tasty. The Chardonnay paired well with this. Then she ordered Pikilia, a platter of hummus, baba ghanoush, dolmades, spanakopita, and falafel croquettes, and was transported to her happy place. I went with the Red Angel Pasta and added Gyro meat. Meat is required with pasta! It was quite good. We finished with the last piece of carrot cake which tasted more like ginger spice. In any case, it was delicious. We met Mike, the owner, and learned a little more about the restaurant before leaving. We told him we were glad we came and that weโd be back. Pitta Souvli is a must-visit if you need some more Mediterranean food in your life!
