Delicious, great portions, great prices
Free soup! Bread is huge and amazing
We got the curry chicken and fava bean entrees, fava beans were even better than meat!
Will be coming back to try more
I just found this gem in Harlem and let me say I am thoroughly impressed. First, the Yemeni tea is extremely good. No need to add anything. Secondly, the amount of food that you get for money is a great deal. I had #21 Aqdat Dajaj (Curry Chicken) w/Basmati Rice and a side of Naan bread (it was huge). You also receive soup and a mini salad before the actual entree. I left there stuffed and satisfied. The space is very quaint and somewhat intimate. Itโs a must try!! And itโs Halal!!!
Unassuming place for some delicious middle eastern food prepared Yemeni style. Had the lamb shank and stewed veggies. Meals come with lamb broth soup, salad, and finished with Yemeni spice tea. Delicious and canโt wait to try more.
Tried the veggie combo and foul platter. Samosas and fresh naan style bread were very good. Baba ghanouj was good. Hummus was ok. Tea was nice but a little sweet.
Wow - we ordered food from this place(2 lamb dishes with rice and with bread), and it was just incredible! Super flavorful and very authentic. The bread has a seed that is very common in the Middle East which is delicious. And the best part is our food came with traditional Yemeni tea!! Spiced and sweetened to perfection. We will DEFINITELY be back for more
