2 months agoThe front desk representative Cynthia is an angel!! Greeted me with a smile which she kept throughout our entire interaction! She was so patient and went above and beyond to assist me with my passport application. She even called the agency and gave me step by step instructions. Truly appreciate her and her dedication! Definitely broke the negative stereotype associated with postal services. Thank you Cynthia.

6 months agoThe new and creative ways that this particular post office keeps finding to continuously screw up the simple delivery of the right mail to the right address continues to amaze me. The depths of their incompetence is almost impressive. I've lived in Middletown for the last four years, and while I cannot attest to the other functions of this post office, in mail delivery they are utterly woeful. I have continuously received a steady stream of mail addressed to other people at completely different addresses. These are not previous homeowners or renters, and the pattern simply defies logic. It's been an almost daily occurrence for years despite my full address being clearly written on the door of my mailbox in big bold letters. This morning I received mail addressed to someone in Cornwall NY and postmarked almost three weeks ago. Last month I was dragged to court and forced to pay a $250 dollar fine over a code violation that I had no idea previously existed, because they didn't deliver the preceding Order to Remedy that was sent to me via first-class mail and it instead ended up with one of my neighbors. There is very little that the average resident here can do to communicate with them or make this issue known. Getting the right mail to the right address is a cardinal function of any post office, and out of the many places I've lived in the US, I've never had one routinely fail at this simple task so egregiously.

3 months agoIโve called about 10 times it is impossible to speak to a real person and the robot is absolutely no help. It just tells me information that I already know and doesnโt answer any of the questions I need answered. Iโm getting so frustrated and annoyed.

2 months agoMy mail has been missing for weeks!!! This is by far the worst post office Iโve ever been to. Itโs 840am and the full service hours begin at 830am, why are the doors still locked?! Itโs Wednesday morning, thereโs no excuse as to why this is happening.
