in the last weekRayoog Cafรฉ in Mesa is a hidden gem for a Mediterranean breakfast! From the moment we walked in, the stylish dรฉcor and cleanliness set the tone, and the spacious patio was an added bonus. The service was top-notchโfriendly and attentive from the start. We kicked off with a complimentary lentil soup, which was absolutely delicious. I had the Shakshuka, and it didnโt disappointโflavorful and hearty. My wife enjoyed the Eggplant dish, though she mentioned sheโd prefer more eggplant and fewer eggs (3 felt like a lot). Our friend had the Spinach Omelette and was pleasantly surprised by the use of fresh, uncooked spinachโdefinitely unique. The naan bread was outstanding, and the hot sauce added just the right kick. Portions were generous, and parking was convenient. Overall, itโs a great spot to try something different and savor authentic flavors. Definitely worth checking out! Saluti

3 months agoReally enjoyed this experience at Rayoog! We were seated right away and came for breakfast but it got busier throughout the morning. We decided to get the VIP breakfast but the server sold us on the Special Mams as it came with more things. He suggested if this was our first time to try that so we get a taste of everything. The food came out on a rotating display with a teapot in the middle. It was a very cool concept. There was a little bit of everything. It also came with shakshuka eggs and two cheese boats. The best part was the unlimited tea! This was a nice way to experience a traditional Iraqi/Turkish meal.

2 months agoI absolutely loved my brunch experience here! What a unique and cool culinary experience! When my sister and I arrived, it was jam-packed, but once we were sat down, service was prompt, starting us with a refreshing carafe of lemon and mint water on this hot triple digit day. (When I called, they didn't take reservations on weekends.) We ordered the Mam's tray and was extremely surprised at how far the little plates went! My sister and I couldn't finish everything, unfortunately. Not only are there tons of small plate options with our set, but they give you three huge pieces of flat bread in a basket including an esthetically pleasing copper teapot filled with lovely dark tea to savor throughout your meal. Our favorite was putting the mango jam, a piece of fetta, and some of the pickled veggies on top of an egg to really get all the flavors! For the amount you get, I would say it's a fair price at $34.99 just for the food quality and experience alone! Especially when splitting the bill. 1000/10 would come back again!

2 months agoSunday morning and they were busy yet the staff was smiling and friendly. This is a Mediterranean family restaurant and worth the drive if you live north of Gilbert. When I looked up this restaurant, the reviews were at 4.8. That review score is correct. The food was great, the staff helpful. If you leave hungry, that's your fault. The large family meal comes with tea, which was very good, samples of so much food and boats of cheese and flat bread. The puff pastries with heavy cream and mango was just the best lite dessert. But get there before 3pm. They close early. They are close to hwy 60 and the 101. Go and enjoy yourself.

3 months agoWow! What a lovely experience. I came here on Saturday for brunch with my girlfriends and it was so much fun! We ordered the Mam Tray and it had a wonderful assortment of foods, pastries, and different traditional bites. That came with chai and we also ordered Turkish coffee to try. The shakshuka was also delicious! I will definitely be back. The service was outstanding and overall the vibe was great!
