11 years agoI took my son to see Dr. Rahhal for a second opinion. He glanced over my son's chart and agreed with the previous doctor my son had seen (IBS). When I asked questions because the previous doctor's treatment wasn't working, he didn't listen. I mentioned that I gave my son baking soda water because the PPI drugs weren't working and his joints were hurting. Dr Rahhal was shocked that I would do this and stated it was unsafe. Zegerid OTC is half baking soda. I took my son to the Mayo clinic this past month and found out that my son's pain was because he is lactose intolerant. One simple enzyme test and my son could have been pain free and not had to deal with all the drug side-effects. He suffered 4 between incompetent doctors that are more into selling drugs than relief.
