Great food and great service. The chicken koobideh is to die for. I have been coming here since this restaurant open 12 years ago. The owner of the staff are always smiling and helpful. The restaurant provides a nice and peaceful atmosphere for both entertainment and fine dining and all for a reasonable price. I walked in to Safir for the 1st time this past weekend on my own and I'm so glad I did. This is authentic Persian food. Matt took care of my order and recommended Khoresh Bademjan because I was craving a stew since it was freezing outside. It came with a side of basmati rice. I also ordered a Chai and it was sooo delicious, bursting with cardamom! The bread seems to be stonefired and I loooved dunking it in the stew. I can't wait to come back and try the kabobs.
