Sahara Halal Food

We were in Brooklyn from Ontario for a concert, wanted some good home cooked food, I found this place on google, it was like a 5 min walk from our hotel, and was a little hesitant eating chicken from a food truck... but.... WOW THIS MEAL WAS AMAZING!!!!! Thr flavors were out of control!!! I was beyond impressed and wish he was in my town in Ontario... also the prices are beyond AMAZING!!!!!

Got the chicken over rice for $8. Freakin good!! Quick and easy, and the guy was so nice and friendly too. Would come back, really satisfied my craving for halal cart food

Great food. Tasty. Decent portion. I ordered lamb over rice. 4 different kind of sauce. White, hot, bbq & green (extra spicy)

Love this guy, great halal cart. Always does service with a smile especially if you say salaam. Good portions and friendly service. Food is always warm and gives as much sauce or salad as you like. Not often you find halal cart that still does platters for 8-10 dollars, especially in the city. For the price, unbeatable value and flavor for cost. Def recommend if you need a halal bite in the area.

Great food, but he yelled at me for not having cash, even though he didn’t tell me he didn’t accept card beforehand! He yelled at me in front of a small crowd and I felt so humiliated. He made me stop by the nearby bank and deposit money from my account before I could even apologize. So, great food, but he scares me and I feel like I can’t even walk near his cart anymore.
