Lynn did my makeup for my brothers wedding and she was amazing!! I cannot recommend her enough. She was SO so sweet. She made my mom and I feel so comfortable and I walked out feeling like I had made a friend! She listened to exactly what we wanted and gave us a better look than we could even imagine! She is so talented! My makeup lasted all night and looked so fresh. I would recommend Lynn to anyone and everyone!! She’s the reason I’ll come back to Salon West

Maria is god sent & has received a new loyal client! She not only did my hair to the gods she took her time and even stayed to make sure it was all up to par I am so happy with the service and overall atmosphere for the studio. Will visit again ask for her as she is aaaaamazing!! 🤍

I called a month before my hair and makeup appointment for my daughter to cancel. I was told that my deposit was non refundable. Mind you depoist was around $ 150. At a month out that should of been more than enough time for them to fill that spot in their schedule. But nope no refund i was told that if i cancelled I forfited the deposits. How is that right with a month out. I ended up going in to do myself and my daughter's hair for a wedding and I also did my makeup. The make up lady was 15 minutes late claiming it was due to parking. My hair was falling out a few minutes after leaving the salon and the Bobby pins where falling out. The eyeliner on my eyes wasn't even even. My daughter's hair had to be fixed and re curled before we even left the salon. even with it being re curled we had to re curl it at home again even though I asked for her hair to be sprayed really well. Just really disappointed especially with the price I paid for everything.

Went to Salon West for the first time, and Amal did my highlights. I love how they turned out! She asked questions to make sure she was clear on what I wanted. She is great, will definitely be booking with her again 💗

I asked the stylist to start directly at the roots. She said that’s exactly what she was planning on doing anyways. It looks like my roots came out and I need to go in for a root touch up already. Also, I have orange streaks in my hair. She said it’s because of my hair but I’ve been getting my hair done for over 10+ years. I have dirty blonde hair naturally so my hair bleaches well (she dyed my roots brown because of the “orange” in my natural hair color??) Also, I was told it was $250 for color + $50 for cut then ended up paying $500 because she had to use 2 bowls of color (i have very thin and mid length hair). I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I don’t even pay this premium price for places in NYC, especially for a botched hair color. The color also not blended well around the edges and my hair is sooo damaged from the bleach. It’s just overall such a terrible job. I’m very upset at the results. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I left and got a closer look.
