I scheduled appointment for 9:00 today. Waited over 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Was there around 8:40, when someone did come , I was told to have a seat, mind you,there were others waiting too. When I asked, what time doctor comes in, the person said maybe around 10 , I said I have an appointment at 9 she also said no reception in and will be in later. I explained this is uncalled for and unprofessional and cancel my appointment. This clinic wasted my time. I should have read the many negative reviews too, because many negative reviews with this office and doctor. I will go somewhere else. For those who look at the reviews think about going to this office. A few months ago I had a dental hygienist, clean my teeth and did a good job when I saw the doctor,said I needed to have a bridge but he never checked my insurance and called me back, so I will not recommend this doctor at all. This doctor does not have favorable reviews in other websites.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. First, the wait time here is extremely long. I have been the first patient in the office for a 9 AM appointment and still not seen for at least 1 hr. There are no apologies for the inconveniences they cause. Second, Dr. Aknouk does not provide education about your care nor does he give you an opportunity to ask questions. It seems like it is a rush service to get you in and out, so that he can see as many people as possible. Finally, make sure you reach out to your insurance company to see what service is covered. They will tell you your insurance does not cover your procedure and make you pay out of pocket when they never even contact the insurance to get authorization. I definitely don’t feel confident in the care I have received at this establishment. I 100% would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Too laid back. My dental requests were never submitted when I asked. I was told my insurance didn’t approve anything but they did and thankfully sent me a letter. They push push push porcelain crowns to get you to pay more money. They do root canals ONLY if you pay out of pocket even after they submit the request to your insurance. The refuse to refund me for a root canal I paid for out of pocket until they get payment from my insurance even though the service was already approved. I literally sat in the chair and the chair wouldn’t recline back and he refused to move me to another room where he could efficiently inject the anesthesia needle. The female dentist has the nastiest attitude I’ve ever encountered. She literally told me “well I have small cavities that haven’t grown in years” as a rebuttal to one of my teeth cracking due to them not submitting my most recent X-rays. They are AWFUL and I can’t wait to be done with them forever.

After cancelling 2 previous appointments we show up to the recent appointment on 8/30/2024 to know that the person who’ does the cleaning is not in the office that we need to schedule another appointment to see her again. This is unacceptable. I did report the situation with the health insurance company. Instead of canceling the appointment for the third time they jus did x-rays to cover up and by the time the doctor saw my child he only asked him to schedule for a clean up when that was the appointment supposed to be.

Worst dental place! I was sitting in the waiting room when a patient stormed out the door upset, saying “I’m never coming back here” , well, I dont blame him. I have had a hole in my back tooth for over 7 months now, was referred for root canal. I book the appointment and wait 3 months for the appointment with endodontist. They do x rays and tell me I dont need a root canal. I go back to the dentist, and he tells me I need a root canal. “Go somewhere else” he said, for a Back tooth! Im a 35 year old woman I dont need to wait forever for an appointment and it takes 4 appointments at least for a root canal , why cant i get referral for oral surgeon to extract the tooth? “He doesn’t advise it”. Its a BACK TOOTH! I dont need it or care,! Such a cold dentist, not nice at all. Doesn’t care. Doesn’t even look inside your mouth to see whats going on!!!! How do you go to a Dentist and not even be examined?!! DONT go here if you dont absolutely have to. Go somewhere where they actually care. Ridiculous.
