She completed her dual Bachelorโs degrees with a double major in Behavioral Biology and Spanish at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She continued her studies at Johns Hopkins and earned her Masterโs of Health Sciences Degree from the Bloomberg School of Public Health in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology with a concentration in Reproductive & Cancer Biology. During her years at Johns Hopkins, her passion for the medical and clinical sciences continued to grow and she returned to Florida to earn her medical degree at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando. Dr. Hassan completed her OB/GYN residency at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. During her residency, she obtained certifications in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery and Da Vinci Robotic Surgery. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes clinicians for their dedication to providing compassionate patient care and fostering strong physician-patient connections. She also received a medical school teaching award and best presentation award for her resident research. In her final year of residency, she served as chief resident of the resident clinic serving as the resident/faculty liaison.

a month agoDr Hassan is truly amazing. She makes you feel comfortable as talking to a friend. Explains everything that is going on. She delivered my second baby and I will continue seeing her. I highly recommend going to her. The staff at contemporary is amazing as well. I was there very often and they all treated me very kindly

a month agoDr. Hassan was absolutely fabulous. She answered all my questions she gave me all the information I needed to make a well informed decision on how to proceed with my care. She made me feel like her friend not a new patient absolutely warm, caring funny best visit ever.

2 months agoThe past 2 appointments Iโve had at Contemporary Womenโs Care with Dr. Samira Hassan have been absolutely wonderful. I am so happy I chose this specific practice to begin my journey as a first time parent with. Samira has provided excellent care to my partner, the baby, and I. I couldnโt have asked for a better doctor to be guiding us through this process. Additionally, the front desk staff is also very nice and attentive. I strongly recommend this specific location if youโre looking for a strong, supportive, and attentive team on your journey through pregnancy or any gyno concerns!
