SARA BURHAN ABDULLAH, ESQ. HAS BEEN A PRACTICING ATTORNEY WORKING PRIMARILY IN THE AREA OF IMMIGRATION LAW SINCE HER GRADUATION FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH SCHOOL OF LAW WITH A JD IN 2011. 
She is deeply experienced in the areas of family immigration, asylum, waivers, citizenship applications, student visas, visitor visas, and related matters. In addition, she has worked extensively before the immigration court in removal proceedings, and is familiar with work visa procedures and processes.    Attorney Abdullah also does significant work in the area of family law, including obtaining and defending against orders of protections from abuse, undertaking name changes and filing for uncontested divorces.

In 2009-10, attorney Abdullah worked with the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, advising on revisions to the Iraqi Criminal Procedure Code. She also attended, on behalf of the Embassy, numerous meetings of Iraq’s special Constitutional Review Committee. She has worked with US law firms on Iraq-related issues in the past and has served as a judge for the Iraq national rounds of the Jessup International Moot Court Competition.

Attorney Abdullah has been an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, teaching Arabic for Lawyers since 2012.
