2 weeks agoShatila Pastry Store has an amazing variety of sweets, from delicious cakes to traditional Middle Eastern treats. I especially loved the baqlawaโit was perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. Whether you're looking for something familiar or wanting to try something new, this place has something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit if you have a sweet tooth!

2 months agoWhat a beautiful bakery. The Kunafa was the best Iโve ever had, they warmed it and served it with syrup on the side so you could control your own sweetness. The pistachio finger, cookies and baklava were crisp and fresh. I love the dining area and the fact that they are open so late is amazing. Prices are very fair! What a treat.

a month agoI wanted to try some Middle Eastern food from Dearborn, MI . The bakery itself is very nice the pastries and ice cream were Good. The service was okay not great. I donโt know why. All the women were wearing a headscarf and I wasnโt maybe they didnโt appreciate that but I am quite sure they get all kinds of customers in there. Well the ice cream was delicious Especially the rose water ice cream. The chocolate eclair and the other pastry I had which I canโt spell but it had cheese Was good. Very nice seating area in there also. If you like Middle Eastern bakeries and ice cream you should try this place.

a month agoBaklava is divine from here my favorites are the half circle shaped cashew ones. The cakes are good, but the frosting leaves a weird coating in your mouth but I like the fruit in them and itโs not too sweet.

6 months agoMy recent visit to Shatila was a bit of a mixed bag letโs start with a positive,The ambience was delightful. The bakery had a charming atmosphere that made a pleasant place to spend time. Additionally, I must commend the bakery on exceptional quality of their Baklava cookies and ice cream. however My experience was marred by the rude behavior of the employee in the juice &ice cream section the staff member was dismissive and impolite , Shayila bakery, could easily earn a five star rating from me. I hope they take this feedback, constructively and work towards providing a more welcoming and a hospitable environment for the customers.
