Shelby Pediatrics is a medical group practice located in Shelby Township, MI that specializes in Pediatric Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) and Pediatrics.
After visiting several Pediatricians for our girls we finally found one that had good receptionists and an amazing Doctor. We needed a newborn visit and they made space for us right away. The doctor that saw our newborn was amazing and made us feel so welcome and took care of all our concerns that another pediatrician did not handle properly. We are very pleased with our visit and will continue to go here with all our girls.
We have been with this office since 2018. We absolutely love everyone there. They know my whole family and treat us like we have known them forever. My kids feel so comfortable going there...they walk in knowing they are going to be well taken care of. 5 stars! ๐คฉ
I was at this office waiting to be seen with my son, and while I was waiting a women came in with a little boy. The way the staff treated this patient was the most inhuman and inappropriate and unprofessional situation Iโve ever experienced. I have never seen such rude staff. You could see the women wasnโt the mother and asked for the copay to be billed. They wouldnโt see this child because of it. The lady had stated that this wasnโt the first time they have been turned away due to a copayment in an emergency situation. I personally will not be back to this office. If they will do that to this patient they will do it to me! It seems like this office only cares about money and Iโve never seen staff act so unprofessionally in my life. The staff is the worst part about this office and I kept coming because of the doctors. But, after experiencing a situation like that regarding another patient I can only imagine they will do it to any patient. I guess Iโm glad I brang my wallet with me to my sons visit. Sickening.
I came here with my 8 day old baby who had spent the first 6 days of her life hooked up to IVs in special care because of an infection. The office knew this and sent in a nurse who was very clearly sick to come see my newborn. It is in no way acceptable for a pediatricians office to allow a sick nurse to see newborns.
