a month agoIt was my first time visiting this office and Dr. Alshalabi was great! He was kind and very attentive to my concerns. I have been going through a rough time of my life and his presence was very warm and comforting. He was very professional and informative with me. It is also a lady at the front desk who is always very kind and welcoming. I am not a fan of the medical assistants, they honestly seem a bit rude, which ended up putting me in a bad mood yesterday, so by the time Dr. Alshalabi came in I was not happy with interacting with them, but he instantly cheered me up. He gets 5 stars from me! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants a great GYN. Thank you again Dr. Alshalabi.

3 weeks agoBeen going here for about 10 years but decided to change doctors due to the lack of care. In 2015, I complained about pain and they stated just to lose weight, shortly after I ended up in the emergency room with a ruptured ovarian cyst. Most recently I complained about pain and it was dismissed again and they stated to lose weight even after I lost a large amount of weight. Ended up going to another OBGYN and they found I had a massive fibroid that needed to be surgically removed and was told it had been growing for about 7 years. I will never go back to Shelby again. They need to learn to listen to their patients.

7 months agoThis was my first visit. The staff was so warm and friendly. I was especially impressed when an elderly couple come in. One of the staff members actually came out to question the patient so they did not have to stand at the reception window. This same staff member asked the patient was he comfortable. And inquired if he needed anything. This courtesy warmed my heart. After I completed my procedure; I saw another staff member assisted a different patient with her gown without being asked. Once again, another act of kindness. There was a lot of good morning greetings from the staff members to the patients. Overall, a very welcoming environment. Also want to add special blessings to Dr A. OMG! This man had such an amazing personality. I was a little nervous but his bedside manner was so comforting.

5 months agoDr. Alshalabi walked in on my wife while she was changing, she made it clear that she requested a female doctor. Also, itโs obvious that the protocol of the office is that the doctor has to knock the door and ask if the patient is ready, Dr. Alshalabi not only barged in but also tried to continue a conversation and asking questions while looking at my wife while undressed and trying to cover herself. If someone request a female doctor, a male doctor shouldnโt be even near the room. When the female doctor came she knocked the door and asked if the patient was ready, and thatโs what should have been done in this case. Unforgivable.
