in the last weekAmongst middle eastern food around the area, this yemeni food is by far one of my favorate. The owner himself, aside from being so humble and bubbly, you get to see his side in loving what he do for living. I admire him as he is, he knows his product and introduces us each time we dine in, and just love the fact that their food prices are very economical compare to other restaurants around them. Will definitely come back with our friends again

2 months agoI've been to this restaurant twice, and both times were amazing! The lamb Haneeth is an absolute must-try โ it's sooo good. The flavors are just incredible, and the meat is so tender. The servers were super nice too. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!

4 years agoAwesome arabian food. Shibam city has a unique flavor compared to the other Mediterranean restaurants which is from Yemen. They have many options to try from. I loved the taste of the meat dishes and the quantity provided. Will definitely go again to try different dishes. Update(2020): There are some chances that you may not receive the order as you ordered as they take the order but the time you go pickup, they say that item is not there anymore and I have to either wait another 30 mins or take something else. Happened twice with me. They should take orders only if they can fulfill the order.

7 months agoOrdered family platter mandi mix of lamb and chicken, lamb chop tray, salad, hummus, baba ghanouj, and chai and soup (lamb bone broth) for all at the table. Everything was amazing and had plenty of flavor and serving sizes were huge. You will get your moneys worth by coming here. We had 6 people eating and the cost was about the same for 2-3 people at an average sit down restaurant. Waiter was kind and attentive, yet gave us our space when we were eating and chatting. Shibam was an amazing experience of Yemeni food for the first time. The spicy chutni and flavorful rice with mandi chicken is a combo I will not forget anytime soon.
