Located in State College, Smash Falafel City offers a variety of Mediterranean-inspired dishes despite being categorized under pizza. The menu features a popular Chicken Sandwich, Hummus and Pita, and assorted salads. Additional offerings include a selection of sides like Falafel Bag, Zaatar Fries, and Tabouli Salad, complementing the main dishes. For those preferring a lighter option, the Rice Bowl from the bowls category provides a nutritious choice.

4 years agoThe food is okay. But, we ordered several falafel dishes and not one tahini sauce??? Fresh vegetables and the food is delightfully not swimming in black pepper, yet the lamb meatballs taste like theyโve been in the fridge for three years. The gyros taste like salad with a wad of meat in it. This doesnโt taste very Arabic. Perhaps Iโve eaten too often flavor from differing regions.

3 years agoWe ordered food from Smash Falafel, paid for it, and were surprised to find that the restaurant was not located at the address provided, nor was the phone number associated with it. It took two phone calls and over an hour to locate the new store (which is under a completely different name). We had to wait for our food and were not given a refund.

5 years agoSimply delicious. I had the falafel sandwich--essentially a build your own pita falafel. The toppings and sauces were amazing. I also got fries with zataar seasoning. Everyone needs zataar in their life if you have never had it before. Definitely glad to have this place as an option in town, and it will be one of my go to places in town for quick, tasty food.

4 years agoOne of the best option for halal food in state College. I visited the place multiple times and their service is good. Chicken & lamb meat ball sandwiches and also rice bowl are my favourite items here.

4 years agoFood quality is good, but the service is extremely bad. Always get my order wrong, and they're so slow, especially with delivery orders
