>Sofia Balile earned her law degree from Wake Forest University in 2002. Upon graduating, Ms. Balile clerked with the Honorable Judge Maria Sypek in Trenton, New Jersey. She used her experience to enter into general litigation with Thaniel J. Beinert & Associates in New York, where her practice focused on litigation, divorce, and real estate law. Ms. Balile then worked for Cantor Epstein & Mazzola, defending condominiums, cooperatives, and management companies. She left defense litigation to join Paul Weiss in corporate litigation. a year agoI canโt say enough good things about this law firm. They were referred to me by a well respected NY attorney who was no longer practicing. I was in need of their services after my ex filed for custody in NY despite the fact that my child had never lived in NY. I initially went with a firm in Manhattan who assured me they would get the case dismissed. They failed in that endeavor and at that point I switched to Sofia Balile and her firm. They were excellent to work with! Sofia and Kate were super responsive and strategized with me at ever turn on how to accomplish the goal of getting the case dismissed. Another bonus is that they were less expensive than other firms I had checked with. I sure hope I am never in need of legal services again in NY, but if I ever am, I now know who can represent me and get the job done. Well done and thank you for all your hard work on my case!

6 years agoI have used Sofia to refer my clients for legal services and they have all been satisfied. Please note that all the 1 star reviews came from one person and their friends, when this person was fighting with their landlord whom Sofia represented. Sofia has practiced for many years and has really high integrity and works so hard for her clients. I hate that one bitter person behind a computer is unhappy and causing all these negative reviews. I'm a lawyer and I value my reputation above all, which is why I am comfortable sending my clients to Sofia.

6 years agoI have known Sofia for a few years and she is amazing at what she does, if you want a laywer who fights hard for her clients....look no further than the services she can offer. When the opposing defendants come on her page to bash her, you know she is doing something right. Sofia has a vast list of prior, extremely happy clients that she would be happy to provide to you.
