Think Lawrence of Arabia meets Casablanca. We love all things Mediterranean and keep it classic with the originals: Falafel, Shawarma, and Hummus. All our food is made with fresh ingredients, no preservatives or additives!
The first Soom Soom Fresh Mediterranean restaurant opened in November 2016 in Los Angeles. We poured our heart and soul and a lot of great ingredients into creating a restaurant we would be proud of. Today, we are proud to say we have perfectly blended our love for healthy, organic foods and our Mediterranean roots at SIX LA-area locations. From our Soom Soom family, we hope you come an enjoy a deliciously fresh take on classic, authentic Mediterranean cuisine.

4 months agoI highly recommend this cafe. It was very tasty, the portions were huge, we couldnโt eat everything. The plate had rice, meat and 4 types of salad and cost only $17. Delicious orange juice. The food was hot and fresh. Waiting time up to 10 minutes.

5 months agoMore salad, less meat. This such called Mediterranean restaurant is located off the west 3rd street. I can see people parked their cars in front of the restaurant and grab their food then rushed away. There is no free parking lot for this restaurant, so you do need to pay. I was searching for a Mediterranean restaurant so I can have some good kabobs or shawamas. First, I ordered ground beef. The beef was not fine grounded and it had very little flavor. The second time, I ordered the chicken and beef shawama. The both meats were dry and old, over cooked, or had been there for a long time and salty. I looked into the plate: there were 70 % of four different kinds of salads, then 15 % of rice and 15 % of meats. I really like the salads, but I am here to buy an entry plate and I want to see more meat and protein in my plate. I feel like that I was in a salad bar and forced to eat weight controlling diet. I can see this restaurant is not emphasized on providing good protein and Mediterranean meats, but a light, salad based meal. The entry plate will cost you about 20 dollars.

6 months agoI visited Soom Soom on West 3rd Street in Los Angeles and ordered a falafel pita. Unfortunately, the way the ingredients were layered inside the pita made it difficult to fully enjoy the meal. The tomatoes, cucumbers, other toppings, and tahini were all placed at the bottom, with the falafel balls on top. This arrangement required eating through the bread and falafel before reaching the other flavors, which disrupted the overall experience. The ingredient placement in the falafel sandwich just didn't make sense and detracted from what could have been a delightful meal.

a year agoSuch an amazing find. My wife and I are traveling from France and we decided to stop in. Between the kindness, the commitment to service, and the cost, this restaurant is a must visit for anyone in search of a delicious meal. The beef is beyond amazing, the hummus is extremely smooth, every salad is perfectly assembled, and the pita bread, masterfully made. I cannot begin to express how detailed this crew is in the way they maintain their service. They are well focused and customer oriented. I plan to return when I visit LA again. Thank you for your dedication to an inspirational and healthy meal!
