During a 28 year career as a US Foreign Service Officer specializing in Consular Affairs and managing consular staffs in Washington and embassies abroad, I developed an extensive knowledge of how consular processing works. It also acquainted me with many colleagues still serving in Washington and at embassies around the world.
Since returning to private law practice in 2007, I have specialized in business immigration, including advising corporations that regularly move staff how best to organize and prepare those operations to meet immigration law and regulation requirements. I also take on complex individual visa cases, taking satisfaction in often finding creative solutions that were previously elusive. I have now launched a new specialty immigration law practice to focus on these three areas: I offer the following services;
–consular processing strategies that help individuals with complex backgrounds achieve positive visa outcomes;
–business immigration expertise for companies and individuals seeking to establish, staff, and grow U.S. operations and successfully invest in the U.S.;
–advice to firms and businesses seeking to navigate government channels and obtain information and assistance to help serve their and their clients' visa needs.
–instruction and training on consular and visa policy and processes for key personnel in firms and businesses to help better prepare clients for visa interviews.
