The food was just not good. The chicken biryani was ok but the bowl was mostly unpleasant rice. The eggplant sandwich was, again, mostly rice and a single piece of eggplant. With a $6 hummus they gave us a half piece of pita. Disappointing and expensive for the quality.
This place is great! The service was excellent, and the employee who helped me was very personable.
He was sure to ask how my food had been, and he offered me a sample of one of their deserts.
I really hate to leave a bad review like this but I just got my food started eating it and realized it had an overpowering rot/mold smell coming from the rice. The rice was clearly molding or rotten. The meat was very very dry to the point of being hard and sharp. This was clearly old food and the rice with the strong odor was unsafe to eat. I am assuming there is a hygiene /food safety issue in the kitchen. Again I hate to be the bad guy here leaving this review but this was absolutely inexcusable and a first for me -- I had been here before about a year ago and did not have this problem so not sure what is going on. *I just read another review that commented on probable food safety issues which was my concern. He said his daughter got sick from the food. After realizing there was rot smell in my food this was my concern. There is no excuse for serving expired inedible food and I won't be back.
Came for the first time and the girl staff eith mask was polite amd friendly. She even offered me a complimentary drink and helped me with my order. Politely asked me to give reviews. Food was good.
Rosa was so warm, welcoming and helpful when making choices. This was our first visit here. We had beef shawarma wrap and chicken shawarma bowl. Lentils and dessert. All the food was wonderfully tasty and filling. We loved everything! Rice pudding was new for us and delicious! Love the art on display too!
