5 months agoGot the Spinach Fattoush with chicken, a monkey of hummus and some baklava. There were literally no other customers in the entire restaurant until I finished eating. The hummus was very good, the bread was nothing special and the chicken I added to my salad was good. However, there was barely any โfattoushโ dressing on my salad. The garlic was very good and fresh. When my server brought my bill before I was done eating my baklava he stood impatiently and waited for me to get my card out so I could pay him that moment. I felt rushed and the salad barely had any tomato, cucumber or onion in it. The baklava was very dry and lacked enough honey. Definitely not worth the prices I paid. The interior of the restaraunt is beautiful and there is lots of seating inside and a large parking lot. Perhaps people leave without paying? Iโm sorry to say Iโd recommend that people give this one a miss. My fingers are crossed that Badawest reopens and relocates because Taboon is lacking their delicious food and polite servers.

10 months agoHad the vegetarian platter. The wait was a bit long for only having 5 tables seated. The food was good. Grilled veggies were a bit charred. Love the fresh bread from the oven. Waitress was very nice and attentive to our needs. Overall good food and service. Will definitely be back.

4 months agoHow is this place rated so low??? Yes, appearances are deceiving but we decided to give it a chance. We ordered the combo and out came the freshly baked bread and garlic sauce. Awesome!Salad was on point! Dressing was so good my wife had to buy a cup of it to go. Kebabs (beef & chicken) were tender, well balanced in seasoning and the kafta (lamb) was just as flavourful! Workers and servers were very nice. If this place were only in Ontario, Canada. Tip: mix the garlic sauce and the hot sauce together. Thank me later.

11 months agoDelicious food, and good customer service. This was my first time there, and I'll definitely be back. I got the chicken shawarma lunch plate, mixed vegetables, salad, bread and toum, and baklava ...yummy!

2 years agoThis was my first time at Taboon but it certainly won't be my last! Every bite of food was fresh flavorful and delicious! We had fresh squeezed juice that was incredible. We were there for lunch and had appetizers (chicken saute and spinach pies) and fatoosh salad. Our service was excellent and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I can't hardly wait to try more dinners at Taboon!
