Tarik David Turfe is a dedicated civil litigation attorney. He specializes in complex civil litigation with areas of focus including business and commercial, real property, corporate, and municipal matters. Additionally, Tarik advocates for clients in a wide-variety of transactional matters.
Tarik attended the Mike Ilitch School of Business where he achieved his Bachelorโs of Science Degree in Global Supply Chain Management with Honors Distinction. Tarik also completed a Co-Major in University Honors at the Irvin D. Reid Honors College as well as a minor in the Philosophy of Law. He competed as Captain of the General Motors Case Competition Team representing Wayne Stateโs delegation to this yearly event. Tarik then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the Wayne State Law School. He enjoyed a very successful academic career and served as the Director of Competitions for the Wayne Law Moot Court Honor Society. Additionally, he competed in the Dean Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence and New York City Bar National Moot Court competitions.
Prior to his work at Hammoud, Dakhlallah & Associates PLLC, Tarik gained valuable experience in a great variety of positions and roles throughout the legal, business, and public service based fields. Tarik completed a judicial internship with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Honorable George Caram Steeh. He was the former Head Coach of the Crestwood High School Womenโs Basketball team, becoming the youngest coach in the history of the State of Michigan to win a District Championship. Valuing community and public service, Tarik volunteers his time with the Muslim Youth Connection, the Imam Ali Conference, Zaman International, Autism Advocates, and the Bint Jebail Cultural Center.
