Tashkent Supermarket Halal Food – Midwood

This is a very small version of the Tashkent supermarket. When I came, I didn't know it was that small. I came to buy specific things, but they weren't available at this location. I ended up getting plov to go. It was slightly warm, but I can't really complain about it, because it was not much left of it, plus it was around 8 pm on Friday. When I warmed it up the next day at home, it tasted really good. So, this is like a regular Russian store or any store with Uzbek touch)))) They sell fresh Halal meat in here. All the food is Halal. Best produce in the neighborhood. Everything is so fresh, top quality, and even when it's real busy everyone who works there is so sweet and helpful.

I had a terrible experience with the customer service at this place. The staff looked and spoke to me as if I owed them something, which made me feel uncomfortable. I'm extremely disappointed with the food quality as well - it's expensive, not fresh, and some dishes were not even cooked properly. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and wish I could give them a 0-star rating.

Date 05:25:2024 time : 5 Pm >> Such a terrible experience ever in any retail service maybe , the cashier was extreme level rude , they dont know their own price tag for fruits , the guy in the cashier overcharged me , rang my items and just threw infront of me didnt offer any bag , feels like i disrburbed his personal life as he was on the phone when i came to the register … such ugly behavior , forget about greetings , u will welcomed by their nasty attitude … never come back and not recommending at all

The one star reviews are genuinely hilarious. They are clearly by weird, gentrified and/or low quality people who don’t deserve good food. Tashkent’s food is high quality and cheap if you buy the right stuff, though a few of their items can be pricey. Their gyro’s are absolutely top notch and their selection of fresh foods are delicious and mostly adequately priced. The only genuine negative thing is that there isn’t enough space at this location, especially on busy days, but the service is very attentive and they do their best to accommodate the mass traffic they get, which exists because they ARE that good. I can’t speak to delivery though, I live nearby so accessibility isn’t a problem personally. The food is genuinely halal also which is great as well
