As a crossroads between Europe, Asia, the Caucasus and North Africa, the Middle East has always been a hub of food and recipe exchange. During the Persian Empire the foundation was laid for modern Middle Eastern food when rice, poultry and various fruits were incorporated into the local diets. Figs, dates and nuts were brought by merchants to conquered lands, and spices were brought back from the Orient. The Middle East where wheat was first cultivated. The area was also influenced by dumplings from Mongol invaders; turmeric, cumin, garlic and other spices from India; cloves, peppercorns and allspice from the Spice Islands; okra from Africa; and tomatoes from the New World, via the Moors of Spain. Religion has also influenced the cuisine; neither Jews nor Muslims eat pork, making lamb the primary meat. So here at Taza Grill you will have fresh ingredients daily prepared food from A to Z, with Authentic taste of the Middle East.

We came for dinner, hoping to try a variety of dishes. Everything is absolutely delicious. We ordered the fried eggplant, hummus, lamb shawarma pita and meat pie; portions are very generous. Restaurant is clean, atmosphere is laid back. Staff was friendly and service was quick. We will definitely be back soon (and often!)

I've been coming to Taza for about three years now. Not once have I ever had a meal that wasn't fantastic. The wraps/pitas are not over the top and "creatively" designed like other restaurants tend to provide, but each one has always been flavorful and densely packed. The simplicity is in its favor. The fries being seasoned? A simple and inexpensive step that really shows attention to detail and makes the side something to look forward to rather than something to fill up on. I would also eat the garlic paste served with them as my main meal if I could! For a while I would only get the sandwiches and maybe a side because I figured that a platter would just be a bunch of extra items tacked on that I didn't need, but I admit I was wrong here. The rice, pita, and side salad really complete the meal and are worth skipping the fries for. Also, not once have I finished my meal in one sitting, anything I've ordered has always been 2-3 meals worth, especially if a side was ordered as well (recommend the kibbies or falafel!) This time around was the chicken taouk (perfectly grilled), yellow rice, lentil rice, cucumber salad, pita, garlic paste, hummus, and a side of fried eggplant. I always take my food out to enjoy at home, but the atmosphere inside is very relaxing and always clean. The decor is simple, but fits the establishment well! Taza is and will remain one of my favorite local places to eat. Any time I try another restaurant, it almost feels like cheating, but it's always there waiting with another fantastic meal when I come back!

We went for dinner! This place looks so surprisingly different from other Mediterranean restaurants. It is beautiful and still modern. Colorful chairs and nice decorations! The food is delicious and neatly placed on the plates. The platters portions are large, you'll be stuffed. The pita sandwiches are also going to fill you up pretty well. You don't have to wait for long, the food comes pretty quickly. Well worth the price.

This restaurant was awesome! Food was terrific! We tried to order a variety to get a lot of tastes. Chicken tenders and fries for our toddler were well battered and crispy! The seasoned fries were delicious. Our services said they lightly seasoned them because they were for a toddler how thoughtful. We had mixed Kabobs and eggplant. The restaurant was clean, and pretty with interesting decor. My only complaint was the TV. It was loudly playing a religious ceremony. I have nothing against religion but if I wanted to attend a religious ceremony- I wouldnโ€™t be in a restaurant. No one was even watching so I am not sure why this was on in the dining area.
