The Green Zone

A warm and inviting bar with friendly waitstaff and killer bartenders! My daughter and I spent a little time here to savor a few cocktails and we loved the vibe. The patrons also seemed like fun people and the drinks were amazing. Don’t forget to have a Black Label, as it’s the “currency of the Middle East”!

Incredible cocktail menu! They have unique Middle Eastern twists on familiar favorites. Between my partner and I, we got four different cocktails and they were all delicious. Flavorful but not too sweet. The food menu is also a win, with more than just the standard hummus and pita. We were lucky to get a table outside, as the place got super busy just after we sat, and people were waiting in line. It was loud, but the patio tables were much better sound wise. Service was attentive and quick despite how busy it seemed. It is on the pricier side (around 17 per cocktail) but the quality matches the price and you will be getting something unique.

This isn’t my first time here but it’s my first time trying The Green Zone’s brunch. What a delight!!! The food was spectacular. It felt and tasted as if it came out from my grandmother’s kitchen. The Iced Turkish Pistachio Coffee was amazing. The Green Zone is also known for their amazing cocktails and drinks. My favorites are the “Mint Lemonade & More” and “A Few of my Favorite Things.” You won’t regret it.

I have been at this bar twice during my trip because I enjoyed it so much. The cocktails are really good, have a lebanese/arabic twist on them which makes them really enjoyable. I especially have to give praise to the bartender Ashley. She has been very kind and accommodating towards me, as I have been here on my own. It's also a joy watching her mix the cocktails! I also had the za`tar pita chips as a snack and they were absolutely delicious! Should I ever come back to DC, I'll visit this bar for sure!

This is a great bar! The cocktails are excellent. In particular the frozen mint lemonade and the Janissary Corps are great. Shout out to the bartender Josh who took great care of us and recommendations. Great vibe for friends or a date. Just not that strong in the food department. Still recommend. Just go for cocktails instead of dinner.
