The Halal Corner

Food was delicious and healthy with plenty of salad. The meat was a bit greasy but very tasty. There is seating for about 75 people and there is outdoor seating as well. Food was reasonable priced.

This place defines the phrase "some of the best food you find is in hole in the wall places". This one of mine and my coworkers favorite places to eat. Our food is always consistently good and the service is quick.I usually get the P21 crazy plate and vary the toppings I choose. The beef, chicken and fried cauliflower are always great on this rice and salad plate. The sauces are scrumptious. Today I also tried the creamy jalapeño salad with chicken added. It was delicious! Don't let the looks of the place scare you away. If you do you'll miss out. (Oh and hilariously, they have clip on bidet attached to their toilets!)

Based on star review category Food: I ordered the P7, gyro chicken plate. taste was less than ok, wasn’t hot, salad potion was tiny. 11.99 for a small plate. Service: no service as it’s self ordering. Person there doesn’t great you or say a word. Wile paying asks for a tip but I have no idea why if no one helped take my order. Atmosphere: clean and plain boring dining area.

Thank you to the manager who helped make everything right with our delivery order that was never received. You were kind and had great customer service skills. You not only re-made our meal and allowed us to go pick it up just before closing, but you also threw in some desserts for the inconvenience. Very much appreciated after the poor experience we had with the delivery coming from doordash. Absolutely love coming here for the large portions and hot fresh food that's full flavor! Personal favorite is the P21. We rarely get anything else. Prices are competitive for other halal and med food in Austin. We feel we get the best value here and like supporting this local business!

The food at Halal Corner is consistently good. I recommend the P2 with chicken and zucchini.
