a week agoI am so impressed with RGW Southeast DC office. The place is super well-organized. The support staff is excellent. They are efficient and coordinate well with each other and with the medical team. Dr. Mogil, was top-notch, too. She was thorough, answered all my questions, and lined me up for surgery the very next day after my appointment. When I had a follow-up question, the support staff took the call, reached out to the Dr. and got back to me with the answer within a couple of hours.

4 years agoI am uncertain how to rate my visit today. I had to leave the office after waiting for approximately two hours. When I asked when I might expect to be seen, the receptionist said it may still be another 30-45 minutes and that when coming in for an appointment, I should plan on allowing 3-4 hours. I have high regard for Dr. Spellman, and appreciate his willingness to be thorough with his patients as well as the fact that he has a number of emergency patients each day. However, I do not appreciate spending 3-4 hours in the office, the vast majority of which is in the waiting room. There must be a better system. That said, his staff is very considerate and professional and I have great respect and confidence in everyone I have encountered in the office. I am considering making a follow up appt with his colleague for whom I was told the time in the waiting room is not nearly as long.

4 years agoAn overall good experience. The reviews indicating that there is a wait time are true. I had a 2pm appointment and did not leave until 4pm. That said they have a lot of patients, which means thereโs a slight delay in appointment times. That aside I felt the staff was professional, courteous, and had a good bed side manner as they explained everything they were doing and answered all my questions. The doctor (canโt recall her name at the moment) was also good and gave me confidence that she knew what she was doing, which is what you want when someone is messing around with your eyes!

2 years agoI have really bad anxiety when it comes to medical procedures of ANY kind. They were patient with me, even when it almost seemed like I couldn't get it under control. They gave me time, water & thoroughly explained the procedure that was going to take place. Dr. Huang was really nice & thorough. Don't think I'll be as anxious my next visit
