Update: 10/23, I considered myself a regular in the neighborhood and I enjoyed coming here until I experienced how the owner treats his regular customers. A tirade about losing money and angrily shouting over a simple order mixup.. never again. My coworkers and I will take our business where it is appreciated .
**The chicken kabob with lemon juice and hot sauce was good.
The roadside grill at Hunter college on 68th and Lexington Ave has changed. The food I purchased today is definitely not Greek. I remember having the food from the previous owners and it was Greek style food truck which was very good prior. I went up today thinking it was the same and realized it wasnโt. **Warning before you purchase your meal this isnโt the original roadside grill from 2 yrs ago and the food here was not it. Itโs not Mediterranean as advertised, itโs halal which spices and taste are different. Everything about it was different and unsanitary. The guys working with no gloves and touching everything with dirty hands. I bought a good amount of food but when I realized that unsanitary practice I knew it wasnt going to be good. Tried the chicken stick that was trying to be passed as โsouvlaki chickenโ and it had a big piece of bone and placed on a hotdog bun. First time Iโve seen that. If you want good halal food go down two blocks to โ Empire Halalโ 65th and 3rd Ave. If thatโs what youโre looking for. Again the place on 68th and Lexington is halal and not Greek. The original owners should ask to take their name off that truck. This is a heads up so your not confused like I was. If thereโs another roadside grill(greek style) truck out there at a different location please let us know. Again the original truck from 2+ yrs ago were 10/10. This new truck with the same name is 3/10. I donโt put out reviews often but Iโd rather warn the next person so they know what they are purchasing.
Best Greek food in the planet. The guy is extra cool too! Friendly. Nice. Courteous. Food is always fresh & delish. And quick! Every time I am in this area, I will be stopping by to eat here!
Really good chicken gyro. Order it Greek way and it comes with fries inside the gyro. Souvlaki is also good. The fellas that run the truck are nice also.
Stop saying that wasn't your truck. Yes, it was your truck. It was the same dirty license plate. We heard you're peeing in the truck. Stop trying to make a excuse you pee in a bucket go eat some taco bell and Chipotle and go wash your truck for the next Day you filthy animal before I call the health inspection. We call the board of health if you per again. You pee boys and maybe have some hand sanitizer and stop being rude to your customer and go fix your Hairline.Your forehead is so big it look ksi forehead. You so ugly you look one of the monster from monster inc
