Brooklyn Egyptian run halal food cart. Nice guys working. The lamb plate was delicious, meat was tender and spiced perfectly, go easy on the hot sauce. Also really enjoyed the falafel sandwich could be more crisp but it was def high quality falafel. Fish wrap also good, takes a bit longer to prep but worth waiting.

Situated near Pod Brooklyn hotel. i always order takeout dinner from this place. the food is really great! and it is convenient for people who are staying at the hotel nearby and need halal food! I love the Chicken over Rice as well as Fish Over Rice. The portion is worth it! and i feel it is more tasty than The Halal Guys (just my personal preference). The owners are really welcoming and friendly, i really appreciate the food and service here. Highly recommended!

Checked into my hotel and opened the window, shortly after a delicious smell I couldnโ€™t really identify penetrated into my room. I went downstairs to investigate, my initial thoughts is that it must be a food truck near by. I get downstairs and turn the corner and there stood 3 food trucks, A Venezuelan, Mexican and lastly, the third truck Halal food. I was about to place an order with the Mexican truck, thinking the smell came from there but my husband quickly called me over and said that it was the Halal food truck . as I walk and approach the truck, The smell got stronger ! Just like it smelled in my room. I glanced inside of the truck and I see a giant piece of lamb. The man standing was very polite and suggested I get the lamb rice and my husband get the Gyro. We took it back upstairs to our room and devoured it! The meat was so flavorful and seasoned, super tender and the rice was aromatic and flavorful, sauces delicious ! when I return back home, I was seeking the same kind of flavor in my area. I looked up a Halal food near my hometown and ordered it today, to my disappointment and just didnโ€™t compare to the food in New York. So if you were ever in the area, please take advantage of the food here, specifically this truck who has been around since forever , in fact since before the hotel were I stayed was built absolutely amazing, highly recommended!
