Yara

I loved the atmosphere at Yara. The server was excellent, and the other employees were friendly and helpful. However, the food portions were much smaller than expected, and the prices were extremely high, especially for students. The food was very disappointing, and as someone with prior experience in Mediterranean cuisine, I can tell this is not up to par. I hope the owner makes some improvements, focusing on the quality and portion sizes of the foods.

There is no place like home, except for this place. Yara really makes you feel like home starting from the great flavors and ending with the best service. Ali, our server, was very kind and patient, always with the best attitude and he even brought us dessert for our anniversary. Every time I dine here it always warms my heart. Thank you!!

the service at Yara is amazing! we came here in a large group and they accommodated us so graciously. we were celebrating a friend's birthday and they played fun music as they brought out the cake! they also let us stay a while after closing and we didn't feel rushed at all during the meal. the food and atmosphere was also amazing -- such a good halal option for a special occasion!

This was our first time at Yara and we really enjoyed our delicious lunch. We ordered lots of mezze and shared them. We got the Sfiha, fetoush salad, foul medames (which was excellent) the mousaka (amazing) and grilled halloumi. It’s a really lovely restaurant, beautiful decor, nice service and we will definitely go again.

One of my favorite places in NYC, the food is amazing you must try THE FILET MIGNON it’s also Halal and THE MULUKHIA, the owner and all of the staff is so friendly and professional, some days there are a live music, overall ten out of ten.
