Yusra Bokhari holds B.A. degrees in history, political studies, and Muslim political thought from Pitzer College and a J.D. degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. As a law student, she was selected as a judicial fellow to the Honorable Stephen Bernard at the Colorado Court of Appeals. She also served as a policy analyst and legal intern at the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) and was awarded the Patton Boggs Foundation Fellowship for her work at USCIRF. Since graduating from law school, she has practiced law in the fields of business immigration and international business transactions, where she routinely counseled clients regarding OFAC regulations and other import/export related issues. Most recently, Yusra was appointed as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona where she served as a trial attorney. Yusra is also a graduate of the State Bar of Arizona's Bar Leadership Institute and serves on the Arizona Attorney Magazine's Editorial Board.
