AlSajdah Academy

It’s been 3 months since I moved to Torrance. Ever since, I always come here to pray Jummah each week. If you are wondering where you can pray, there’s a black door in the back of the building you enter and you’ll see a small space designated for Friday prayers. To me, approximately 28 people can fit inside, no more than that. If you are taking one more than one family for Jummah, I recommend going to the Islamic Center of South Bay in Lomita. There needs to be a building for this and another one for the kids Islamic school.

This is the place to be. Both of my kids are attending this tutoring center and I am planning to send my 3rd child here aswell. The tutors have a personal connection with the students which helps them to obey and respect. Very good center. This is in the heart of Old Town Torrance serving Torrance, Carson, Wilmington, San Pedro and near by cities.

My child went here for preschool and Kindergarden. She loved all her teachers dearly. Mrs. Nadia don't work there anymore but we were very fortunate to have her for our child's first year of school. She went above and beyond to work with kids at individual level. Sister Carolina was always available whenever I reached out for any concern. I loved her approach of handling matters. She wanted to do great things for this school. I hope all that happens. We need good Muslim schools with dedicated teachers.

This is a nice place for kids to learn. Authentic uncorrupted values for the new generation. Kudos to the administration for trying hard. By the way, it is nice to be able to pray on Friday in a apolitical environment. I pray and hope you can grow according to your vision Thanks!
