House of Mandi was founded by a small Yemeni family who loves like-minded foodies in OC. A Yemeni Family brought authentic food from Yemen to the USA -CA in a unique place of traditional Arabic seating where you eat and listen to Yemeni music while dining. Our hobby quickly led us to open this Restaurant, where people from all over the USA – CA can meet to enjoy our unique dishes and comfortable atmosphere. Of course, fresh lamb from the farm to the oven every day. Freshness and creativity are our favorite ingredients. Our menu is varied, and the service is unmatched. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD. Never tried Yemeni food before, so if you did not before, I highly recommend that you come here. Our whole experience was great, the way how they serve the food is unique, the taste is excellent. But the unique fresh food needs time to get to prepared and served, so be patient and you will be rewarded

We travel from Colorado to Cali for Thanksgiving weekend and found this place by accident. We ordered Chicken Mandy and Lamb Mandy individual size meal, the portion is big with both chicken and lamb. The servers are very nice and helpful, service is quick too! Will definitely visit this place again if we ended up in the area. Halal option is definitely a plus!

Nice food, great quantity. I wish if the haneeth meat was more flavored and Mandi rice were different than haneeth rice. Service is a little bit slow and I ring the bell several time before someone come over

I visited this restaurant yesterday for dinner, and unfortunately, it was a disaster from start to finish. The service was abysmal, with our server seemingly disinterested in our table. The food was terrible, arriving cold and taking an inordinate amount of time to arrive. To make matters worse, we didn't even receive a complete set of crockery, despite repeated reminders. But what really took the cake was the automatic 15% gratuity tax added to our $100 bill, without even asking if we were satisfied with the service. I find it absurd to be forced to pay for subpar service. It's unfair and unreasonable. What's even more disturbing is the clear bias shown by the staff towards non-Arab customers like us. We were consistently ignored and overlooked, while wealthy patrons received prompt attention. I won't call it racism, but it was certainly a discriminatory experience. Needless to say, I will never set foot in this restaurant again. The combination of poor service, substandard food, and unfair treatment makes it a place to avoid. I urge others to think twice before visiting.

I never had Yemeni food but always wanted to as someone from an area without many good Yemeni restaraunts, so when visiting Los Angela’s and Orange County, while looking for what to eat on google maps I found out about this Yemeni restaraunt and went there with my family. The food was delicious, fairly priced, filling, and came in good portions. I would come again if visiting the area and reccomend this place to anyone who wants to try Yemeni food, since it is different than most Arab food you can get in California
