Our family wants to let people looking for an attorney know that we were gifted with an angel in Matt in the most unique way. We interviewed many, but what we didn't understand is that when our grandchildren were about to end up in CPS, is that we had to get our son freed from the criminal system first to have a shot at saving our grandchildren from a system that doesn't seem to care in my humble opinion about what is truly best for children. They work feverishly to close out cases whether or not they end up in the best living arrangement. It's a crying shame that they don't do their research before they place children without truly knowing all of the the facts (a child's lifelong journey), which does matter. We are extremely happy that within a few days of retaining Matt that he was able to make a great deal with the DA to eliminate every one of our son's felony charges. We hired him and the following day he was released from jail with 2 weeks of time served. It was Matt's philosophy that this outcome needed to be done first to give our son a chance to not have his life ruined for the rest of his life. Our son was going through a rough patch and now that he's rid of any felonies, he is now able to get his life back on track and rebuild it to have the opportunity to work to have his precious children back in his life. Matt is a great dependency attorney and is very sharp and knows the law related to getting families reunited. This is his passion and through his work on our son's case he now has an opportunity to do what is necessary to co-parent in the near future with the Mother of his children. Each step of this journey may not be what we thought we wanted, but it's moving in a very positive direction due to Matt's outstanding knowledge of dependency law. Our son is thriving and his future is bright. He has unlimited FaceTime with his children and their Mother has been very open to allowing our son to see his kids. It's a great start. Matt also did some pro Bono work for another matter surrounding my son's other daughter. That case was dismissed due to Matt's incredible knowledge of the law. Matt Really helped me out with my 2nd dui. To be honest I knew I was in deep waters but Matt helped me through it. I'd recommend anyone with a dui to get him as a lawyer for the simple fact he's actually there and not just giving bogus excuses or leaving you out to dry.
