My sister got a DUI and we found a looked up a few attorneys on google so we met with them all. Before I hired one I was referred to Mark Khalaf. I was told he was THE guy for DUIs. I did research on him and learned he is always asked to give lectures on DUI law to other attorneys and even hosts a DUI conference in Palm Springs every year. We met with Mr Khalaf and immediately saw he knows so much more than all the other attorneys we met with. He was truly specialist in DUI and you could immediately see that. He was very honest and informative. He also said that my sister had a high blood level and that it could be an uphill battle - I really appreciated his honesty. We hired him on the spot. The case took several months, but he ended up filing a motion (not sure what it was) to challenge the blood draw. The best lawyers in LA ! Mark helped me when I was at my lowest with a second DUI. I was scared for my future and felt ashamed of the mess I had gotten myself into for the SECOND TIME; however, he assured me everything would be okay, and he kept that promise. He literally took care of everything. He connected me with an sr-22 insurance company, a breathalyzer company and all i had to do was show up to court. He beat the DMV which allowed me to keep my license (thank God) and on top of that he was able to get me out of jail time even tho a second DUI means mandatory jail time. I got a DUI a while back and I wanted to make sure it was handled properly. They said he specializes in DUIs and he's considered the best in Los Angeles. So I met with him. Let me just say, I could immediately tell the difference between him and the other two attorneys I met with. He knew everything. I hired him and he handled my case. He made a bunch of appearances and handled my case for nearly a year...and he never asked for more money. Finally, he got my case reduced and got me a "wet reckless".
