40 Thieves Hookah Lounge

This is the best hookah lounge in the entire Bay Area because the hookah’s are kept clean, great vibes with great music. I dropped my wallet by accident and the owner kept it safe for me for 3 days and when I went to pick it up it was safely returned to me with everything intact. If you’re looking to have a great time with good hospitality then I recommend this lounge.

Better known for their great hookahs. The owner is Afghani and funny! They have wide varieties of hookah and comfortable couches and the owner claims to have the best hookah in the whole of South Bay! While I don't do hookah, my friend really enjoyed it and visited twice.

Just realized that after 2 years of visiting this place for several times a week, I never gave the 40 Thieves my review. May be because the owner never asked me to (Unlike many other places). I can say a lot about this place but if you want the short review here it is: this is the best hookah lounge in Northern California. Now the longer review. I've been to dozens of other places across Bay Area and Sacramento, I kept trying and searching for that one perfect hookah lounge and after I found the 40 Thieves, I stopped going all the other places and now I only smoke here. Here are a few reasons why: This lounge is constantly improving on things. Two years ago they only had the basic Khalil Mamoon hookahs, then they started importing many other advanced European hookahs, like Amy. They also did the same thing with tobaccos, besides your regular brands they now have multiple internationally recognized tobacco brands like Musthave. Try to go to any other hookah place in Bay Area and you will find that everything is exactly the same way as it was 3 years ago. Sad. However, the 40 Thieves now has the best selection of hookas and best selection of tobacco in the Bay Area. And the last but not least: the owner, Yousuf, is who makes this place special. He is one of the friendliest and nicest people in the industry, and really does his best in the lounge so everyone feels welcome. He is a top hookah specialist and has an amazing sense for mixing flavours together. His hookahs always taste like top quality.

Spacious place. The person running the place is friendly and prepared a flavor based on our liking because we didn't know what to choose from the menu and it was very good. It'd be nice if they had some food options too.

Best hookah lounge in town with over 120 flavors. Ask them for house mix or Russian flavors.
