Adam Rutz is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and real estate enthusiast. Born a California native, he and his siblings grew up in Ventura, CA. Adam developed a strong work ethic in part from spending his summers working on their family farm. A major turning point in Adam’s life was losing his father in a tragic accident on Father’s Day – his mother went on to raised three children as a widow with one of them being disabled. She taught him to work hard for everything he needed or wanted quitting wasn’t an option and to have love and compassion for everyone. She was and is a key motivator in his life. She is his biggest inspiration; her drive, strength and love for others has shaped him into the man he is today.
Adam’s intense work ethic instilled in him at such an early age and his determination to succeed steered him to become a Navy SEAL – this reinforced and developed an unmatched work ethic, high attention to detail and extreme accountability.
After completing his Seal team service, Adam wanted to continue to serve his others. He apprenticed with his stepfather to learn the home building industry and decided to combine those skills with his love for helping others by becoming a licensed Realtor.
He prides himself in his strong negotiation skills and always working with his client’s best interest at heart. As a professional, he takes his role seriously and negotiates hard to get his clients what they want. He prides himself in helping clients to not spend money unnecessarily to get them the highest return possible.

Adam has earned and been awarded numerous accolades during his short yet successful time in the industry including 2017’s Rookie of the Year, 2019’s and 2020’s Top Producer, 2018-2020’s Realtor of the Year by Camden McKay Realty and 2019’s Rising Star by Fairway Independent Mortgage.
Adam is a big supporter of giving back through kind acts of service as well as being involved in numerous charities including the Warriors Choice Foundation and the SEAL Legacy Foundation. He has been fundraising for year, be it for underprivileged
children to helping our frontline nurses during the height of the pandemic. He is very excited about starting his own non-profit in 2022 which will benefit San Diego directly!
Adam is a family man and has strong ties in San Diego. When he’s not in the office he’s either walking his dog Murphy through Del Mar (big dog person!) or spending time in Ramona at his family vineyard. Adams passion for real estate, his community and providing exceptional client experiences in unmatched, he can’t wait to help you with all of your real estate needs.

a year agoAdam was one of over 100 local San Diego county real estate agents who reached out to me offering to help sell my home after I posted it for sale by owner. My phone literally rang non stop for 3 days. Adam offered a quick and to the point strategy that was different than anyone else. I know he was watching the market because he was quick to see my new listing. Out of the 100 agents, he was one of 5 who I allowed to come to the house and give me his thoughts. We quickly connected, and I liked his transparent and fair fees, as well as his no obligation offer. I understood what he was trying to accomplish. His open house plan was solid and unique, and ultimately helped us get under contract in less than 48 hours for above asking price, even in a challenging and changing market. During the process, several things came up on the buyers side that nearly derailed the entire deal, none of it Adams fault or my own. He worked to get the appraisal submitted and approved in less than 24 hours after the first one was transferred to a new lender. I thought the deal was falling apart. To top it off, I was buying a home in Florida with a 3 hour difference in time. He took it upon himself to negotiate and help me out with my purchase there because my purchase was contingent upon the sale of our CA home. Ultimately, he salvaged the deal when many others were already writing it off as falling through. Adam makes this job look easy.
