Zayn Mohamedโs practice focuses on intellectual property law, with particular focus on health care industry innovations, inventions, and technologies. He is a licensed patent attorney, litigator, and M.D. candidate. Zaynโs passion is applying his unique skills and background to help clients identify, secure, and defend their intellectual property assets.
After receiving dual bachelorโs degrees at age 18 as the youngest graduate in University of South Florida (USF) history, Zayn became the first-ever M.D./J.D. dual-degree candidate at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and Stetson University College of Law. Zayn graduated first in his law school class and received the Edward D. Foreman Most Distinguished Student Award, and upon passing the Florida bar exam he was invited by the Florida Second District Court of Appeal to give the swearing-in speech on behalf of new attorneys. Zayn also worked in the patent offices of the Moffitt Cancer Center and USF, and has authored research in national and international journals of surgery and radiology.
Zayn enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering at legal and medical fairs or clinics and being a tutor and mentor for students interested in law or medicine. He is an Eagle Scout and an award-winning competitive international pianist and triathlete, and speaks, reads, and writes Arabic, French, and Spanish.
