I have multiple children going here for over 11 years now. AFA provides a great balance of Islamic and secular education (Math, Science, English). The admin team is great and open to feedback. Best of all my children look forward to going to school everyday.

Best place for Islam studies. Staff are completely kind and nice. All teachers are great and nice with students. I will name all the teachers and grade here! From Preschool to 5th grade Preschool ms Alfia Kindergarten Ms Zainab First grade Ms Aziza And Ms Eisha 2nd grade Ms Nusra And Ms Salma 3rd grade Ms Saba And Ms Salma 4th grade Ms Mariam And Ms Eman 5th Ms Kari These are our teachers for elementary but we have middle schoolers too! These are our Islamic/Arabic And Quran teachers First grade Ms Souad Second grade Ms Iman 3rd grade Ms Souad 4th Ms Iman 5th Ms Nadia One Assistant is Ms Nusaiba So we have great teachers! One thing u should know is that the school is small there is one class for each grade! But that does not matter! And yes I go to this school and I like it a lot so choose Afa for ur children!

The teachers periodically evaluate each student to make sure everyone in the class is where they need to be. The school focuses on character development by teaching the values of responsible citizenship, compassion, and empathy. My children are receiving a world-class education along with the soft-skills required for leadership in a global economy.

We've been AFA parents for nearly 15 years over three children. It is perhaps the most important tool in our arsenal as parents to ensure the instillment of Islamic values from an early age. It's Qur'an, Arabic, Islamic history, but it's also environmental awareness, citizenship, and civic engagement. I find many of the negative reviews posted to be poorly thought out, and reflective of a single incident rather than an overall experience. AFA has always been a great partner in our children's education, and successfully gives the best of both worlds.

The principal intimidates kids and parents alike. There is absolutely no way of resolving any issue if you bring it up to her. Her attitude is: "It is what it is because I said so". It is a bad representation of what the school stands for. If you have not registered your kid yet to this school I recommend that you stay away until a new principal is brought in. Otherwise, be ready for years of frustration and unfruitful disputes.
