I've ordered 2 combo over rice with special instructions for 4 extra hot sauces and 2 coke. I received half hot sauce and 2 diet coke. When I called, the staff told me to pay extra for the hot sauce. There were no options in Uber eats to order hot sauce. Also asked for utensils, never received a napkin or forks.

We visited Al Sultan I believe this past weekend. I was originally sort of hesitant, but it's actually a decent place. First off, you need to temper your expectations. This restaurant appears to be run but an older South Asian uncle and his wife. So don't expect the phone to always be answered, or to get all the bells and whistles of other 'hip' restaurants. That being said, for a family with young children, the food was good. It wasn't overly spiced, so it was actually a really good option for our kids (ages 6 and 4). For us (parents), we asked for extra sauces (garlic + chili). The food didn't take overly long to be prepared. We ordered the chicken mandi, and the meat was cooked well such that the meat was falling off the bone. Overall, if you are looking for a 'homestyle' restaurant, where the food appears to be cooked fresh in-house, this is a good option for a family. Just remember to be patient and give a little. You'll hopefully be rewarded with a nice meal.

Mandi in Howard County now. They are very well behaved and tasty food. We took Lamb Mandi & Chicken gyro over rice. Awesome taste. We were the first Mandi customer. ☺️☺️ I tried Mandi after 7 years. Liked it. Definitely you all should try.

Ordered fried chicken, Samosas, and Lamb Mandi. The lamb Mandi came pretty good. The chicken came bloody. I asked the server about the fries since the menu says it comes with fries. He left the table and never came back. We went to the counter and informed the other server. He went to the kitchen without us finishing talking. Fries came out raw and cold from the inside. Took my toddler to the restroom to be shocked with how dirty it was. We left the restaurant without finishing our food. An unfortunate waste of money.

I went there tonight for the first time, young man at the front was very pleasant, that’s the first thing I look for when trying a new establishment. I got the chicken shawarma and samosas. Very good the chicken wasn’t dry, perfectly cooked. It just needed more of the sauce or to go sauce. 👍
