Ms. Ala Hamayel immigrated to the United States from Palestine when she was 10 years old. As the daughter of a refugee, she is passionate about immigration law and decided to make that her career. Thus, she went to The Ohio State University earning a BA in Communications and a BA in Arabic in 2004. She then earned her Juris Doctor Degree from University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2008.
Ala interned for a United States District Court magistrate judge, and Judge Whitney at the Delaware County Common Pleas Court. She has experience in family law, immigration, and criminal law. Her practice, however, is focused on family law and immigration. Ala grew up in a bilingual home speaking English and Arabic.
