>Albert J. Dib is a native Detroiter, and a 1980 graduate of Wayne State University Law School. He has taught Medical Malpractice, Litigation Skills, Pretrial Advocacy, and Health Law at both Wayne State University Law School and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he has been Adjunct Professor of Law. He is past-president of the Wayne State University Law School Alumni Association, and currently a member of the WSU Law Schoolโs Board of Visitors. He authored the ANNUAL SURVEY OF MICHIGAN LAW,ย โMedical Malpractice,โ 2005 โ 2006 in The Wayne Law Review, and โEthical Conduct and Effective Lawyering, Plaintiffโs Perspective,โย presented at the 26th Annual Law Seminar, Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Mr. Dib focuses his practice in medical and professional negligence, including the highly specialized field of catastrophically injured children and Birth Trauma/Obstetrical Malpractice Litigation.ย He also serves as a special medical malpractice mediator. Mr. Dib has settled numerous multi-million dollar cases and obtained the highest medical malpractice verdicts ever in Macomb and Bay Counties.
In addition, Mr. Dib has also taught at Central Michigan University (Legal Aspects of Health Service Organizations) and has been an invited lecturer at the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (Deposition Conduct and Objections) and the Michigan Association for Justice (Malpractice Tort Reform). Mr. Dib served on the State Bar of Michigan Grievance Committee and the District I Character and Fitness Committee. He has been an instructor for the American Association for Justice and Michigan Association for Justice at the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law trial advocacy workshop symposium and a moot court judge at Wayne State University Law School (Arthur Neef Competition); University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law (State of Michigan and Gallagher Competitions); and Michigan State University College of Law.

a year agoI was told that Al Dib would take my mothers malpractice case. We had less than a week to file because it was coming up on two years since the incident occurred. They had me sign a contract and everything, then called days later to cancel and would not provide a reason. My impression is that he cares about his pocket book and not his clients or what they have been though. All I said to your staff was I am going to leave a bad review because there was no reason given for taking our case then turning it down. I did not threaten "her" in anyway.
