Best falafels Iโ€™ve ever had. I donโ€™t usually like them because theyโ€™re too dry, but these were perfect. The pizza like things were also great. I got the fishermanโ€™s something or other and wouldnโ€™t recommend as itโ€™s too dry and actually not too flavorful. I would try the lamb next time. The drinks were good. If youโ€™re sensitive to sugar, you shouldnโ€™t get the jallab. Dessert: would try the loves dessert next time as the maalmoun was too dry. Perhaps a bit better with a coffee or milk tea. Service was great, and the chef even comes out.

Awesome spot to try out Mediterranean Lebanese food in San Diego. 3 of us ordered: -chicken tawook -Sayyadieh (Fisherman's Rice) -Ouzi Lamb Chicken tawook (flatbread) was extremely tasty and very unique. The other two items were their top 2 most popular dishes (rice dishes). The flavors were great! If it is a small group, I would recommend only picking one of the rice dishes so you don't carb overload. Food definitely comes out a bit on the slower end. For the value, I did wish they provided more food. Staff is friendly. Owners/chefs made their ways around tables to check in. I'll be back for sure to try out different items on their menu! Extremly limited parking out front...otherwise, street parking.

Anyone who ever sets a foot in San Diego should visit Alforon at least once. I am obsessed with this placeโ€™s food and even more their hospitality. The owners are husband-wife duo and what an amazing people they are. We visited their place for the husbandโ€™s birthday and couldnโ€™t have preferred to go anywhere else. The lovely lady sat with to understand our food preferences and recommended a few dishes. Her sense of humour and hospitality have made this place one of my favourites. I had the softest chicken of my life there. They offer the best flatbread pizza. Their love dessert is to die for. If you are a food lover, then this place should be the first on your list. If you go to this place, please listen to their owners/chefs and you will have the best food of your life. The parking space is limited in front of the restaurant but might find a street parking near by.

One of the best, most authentic restaurants experiences Iโ€™ve ever had in my almost 18 years here in San Diego. You know how there are times when you want to eat your meal in peace and donโ€™t want the owners/chefs stopping by to give you their two cents or tell you story after story? Well here, I could sit for hours listening to stories of history or get advice on why I ordered too much spinach and cheese dishes (even though we all know thatโ€™s not physically possible). You feel like youโ€™re stepping into someoneโ€™s Lebanese household, thatโ€™s the vibe you feel immersed in. The food was delicious. The dessert was out of this world. Iโ€™d come back here again and againโ€ฆdamn, Iโ€™d live here!!
