Originally of Mesopotamia (IRAQ), Ali Al-Asady became a resident of Arizona in 1995. He has been a REALTORยฎ with HomeSmart in the greater Phoenix area (Maricopa County) licensed since 2003. He is also an instructor with Elite Education and a consultant for a local high-performance home builder. An accomplished professional with a proven record of success, Ali ranked in the top two percent of realtors in Arizona. His personal mission statement is to โpave a greener path to sustainable living and healthier homeownership through education, representation, and sales.
Ali began his real estate career as an investor by renovating, managing, and selling rental properties. He then decided to share his wealth of knowledge with clients as a realtor representing his clients. Soon after he found it to be his calling to promote sustainability and green thinking in the real estate market, and to educate others about this. Even as a young boy, Ali felt a connection to the earth and the environment, thus it is no surprise that this became Aliโs focus.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Ali continuously expands his knowledge base and shares his expertise. He is a graduate of Westford College, the Hogan School of Real Estate, Eco Broker International, and the Ikoloji Sustainable Building Advisor Program. He teaches many classes, seminars, and training programs on sustainability and green home buying & selling. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Arizona Association of Realtors, Phoenix Board, the Green Resource Council, Eco Broker International, USGBC, Green Chamber. He was recognized by U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC-AZ Chapter) for his efforts to put together the first of its kind green home tour and for volunteer work with residential green building committees. He has written a variety of real estate and sustainability articles for newspapers and magazines.
Prior to entering real estate, Al-Asady was a professional interpreter with the U.S. federal and municipal courts. and a case manager with the International Rescue Committee These experiences exposed him to the legal system in the US and to people from all walks of life and of a wide variety of education levels, cultures and backgrounds. From this, he developed respect and admiration for the points of view of others, which he feels now aids him in all areas of his life and career. When not sharing his real estate and sustainability knowledge with clients, Ali is a devoted family man to his wife and two sons, pursues his passion for art, architecture and spends time in nature.
