Alma Harb, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine doctor. She provides primary care for adults, including preventive care and diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. Dr. Harb treats adults through the concierge medicine program at UC San Diego Health. Concierge Medicine is a primary care option that requires an annual fee and offers enhanced services, extended amenities and 24/7 access. Proficient in Arabic, Spanish and French, Dr. Harb’s multi-language skills serve concierge and executive patients of diverse cultures and ethnicity.
Dr. Harb is committed to providing outstanding care built on compassion and personalized attention. She works in unison with her patients, and believes that preventive care is paramount for optimal mind and body well-being. Dr. Harb is consistently recognized for exceptional medical care by Press Ganey national patient satisfaction surveys.
She is a fellow of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. She is a former president of the National Arab American Medical Association – San Diego chapter for 2014-2015.
Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Dr. Harb practiced internal medicine at Scripps Coastal Medical Center from 2003 to 2011. She completed her residency training at Scripps Health Mercy Program and her fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Harb earned her medical degree at Damascus University School of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine and has given talks at multiple medical conventions nationally and internationally.
When not at work, Dr. Harb enjoys playing classical piano, reading, traveling and spending family time with her three teenage boys.
