Alvena helped me buy and sell my first condo and during both transactions she was helpful, informative, and supportive. She treated my transaction with care and made me feel like I was her only client, even though she was juggling many others. Later, my husband and I were buying a house in a county she typically doesn’t work in, but when we had questions and went to her she still provided us with so much guidance and helped us to understand the process better. Her knowledge of loan programs and lenders helped me get great financing in both of my purchases as well. Beyond making me feel like an important client, she also made me feel protected legally with her extensive understanding of all of the disclosures and the million other legal documents you have to sign during a real estate transaction. She is a part of the California committee that creates the legal documents we sign as buyers and sellers, so she was able to thoroughly explain every page I signed and answered all of my questions. She is an excellent broker and I fully recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the Central Valley area.

My wife and I first met Mrs. Alvena from one of those open house. In fact, we were looking around for a townhouse here in Modesto. To be honest at first, we were just expecting “another” typical junior and yet, inflated sense of high worth coupled with underwhelming acumen realtor types, like so many that we’ve met before. I'm glad it was different this time. Our first impressions were actually engagingly impressive; she was an ethical agent with her sense of honesty, very informative regarding the boundaries of our rights as much as the sellers, and about the new enacted NAR settlement laws that serves to protect us home buyers, what options are possible in respect to how to win as we all know, experience is nearly not enough in these cases, whereas the discussions between the clients agent and seller is what really has weight in a sense—in summary, exactly how to effectively compete in this investor heavy and highly competitive sellers' market in the desirable areas of Modesto. To describe her, well she is kind of in a good way nerdy, like Elon Musk…discussions was definitely with substance and factual information...she will fact check everything to ensure the information she provides you is proper. From the start of our interaction to the conclusion of our contractual agreement; she has been the absolute best agent we have had the pleasure to work with, and this is our 4th home purchase. She outstandingly executed her commitment with our best interests in mind, her fiduciary duty to our family; from tirelessly searching for a fitting home, to explaining to us page by murderous page those comprehensive documents, ensuring we understood what we were signing and agreeing to including the lenders papers, all of the fees associated with the purchase, and finally, her determined consultations with the seller…which was how we won our bid—I can’t say exactly, but we truthfully appreciated the work behind her win for us. And we thought it was game over; at our best…we were not tall enough to ride this ride. Then, Mrs. Alvena texted us one sad, very sad…did I already say, sad sad evening LOL, “…would you be super happy if you get this home…” then bammmm, here we are today sleeping in our new home, kids and pets running around our new house, my wife soooo happy--telling me sweetiepie we should bbq, we should do this and we should do that…wohooooo! In fact, my wife and I saved that memorable text message and we frequently glance at that moment where to our family, we felt like Christmas came early. You know sometimes, a win is just a win, but the magic behind the win makes these times exceptionally memorable—a blessing.
