Food was excellent and beautifully plated. (This is my own preference but I wish we could get the dolmas served hot, which is the way I was introduced to it by my husbandโs family.) service was attentive and honestly surprised the restaurant was not more popular. Great Middle Eastern food here!
Dined in Amalfi Mediterranean restaurant in Dublin for the first time and the experience was amazing. Food was amazing and great service.
We tried Hot sampler appetizers, Chicken shawarma plates, Lamb kufta plate & Chicken Shishtawook and all dishes were great and yummy. Great
portions on the plates and nicely presented.
I will definitely go back for dine in or takeout and I recommend this Mediterranean restaurant to others.
I was looking for a new place to try and this caught my attention. Actually, the picture of a burger did. Decided to give it a try.
Unfortunately my friend and I got in right after a table of 12 and they ordered first. Thus, our food most likely took more time than usual to arrive. We waited at least 15 minutes. And when the food came, the order was a bit mixed up. I wanted chicken shawarma with rice, but got fries instead. My friend wanted beef shawarma with fries, but got rice instead. No biggie. They quickly brought a huge plate of rice for me. That was enough rice for 3 meals for me.
Not only was the presentation great, the taste was excellent. My friend and I enjoy going to the Kebab Shop to get something similar. I tasted my friendโs fries and they were crispy. Our server even offered more sauces and I got a garlic sauce. I believe the garlic sauce was different from the white sauce that was already on my chicken shawarma.
The only two things that itโs lacking are: 1) It takes longer to get the food than the Kebab Shop, but I can always order takeout ahead of time. 2) It does not offer a beef/lamb combo shawarma. But I would say this place clearly has the upper hand: better tasting food, more in portion, and free pita breads. I would even say this is now my favorite place for shawarmas in tri-valley.
I have been trying to eat healthy so I was actually looking for some veggies. After finishing the meal, I asked the server and he said I could substitute the sautรฉed vegetables for rice. Great! I plan to try the beef shawarma with sautรฉed veggies next time.
The purpose of this additional review is to strongly encourage you to treat yourself to delicious Mediterranean dishes at this restaurant. While itโs lovely having the restaurant all to ourselves at munch time, I canโt help thinking that so many people are missing out. Better babaganoush you probably wonโt savor anywhere served with fluffy, fresh, pillowy pita bread. We enjoyed the vegetarian moussaka version. The servers are so friendly and the atmosphere in the room is relaxing with lovely music in the background. We need to support these family businesses in the communities where/near we live. They have a Sunday brunch buffet that we look forward to trying too.
