2 weeks agoI recently dined at Ammoora. I experienced authentic Syrian flavors that were simply unforgettable. Our waiter, Asia, made our evening exceptional with her warm and friendly service. She went out of her way to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed, offering helpful recommendations with genuine enthusiasm. We chose The Silk Road, a fantastic variety platter that beautifully showcased the depth of Syrian cuisine. Each dish was a delightful balance of rich spices, fresh ingredients, and traditional flavors that brought a true taste of Syria to the table. Every bite was a reminder of the warmth and richness of Syrian food. Thanks to Asiaโs attentive service and the restaurantโs dedication to authentic flavors, this dining experience felt like a little escape to Syria. I highly recommend visiting and trying The Silk Road.

a month agoCame for my friends bday and it was so delicious!! Drinks were good but took awhile to come out. Same with the food but it was well worth the wait. Good vibes, we spoke to the manager and it was delicious. Got a bunch of appetizers and shared them and we were really full. Weโll be totally coming back!!!

4 weeks agoWhat an evening to remember. The food was absolutely exquisite! We sat in the parlor and it felt very cozy even with the foot traffic. It was a nice view from the kitchen and being able to see other orders was. Gave some good inspiration for next time. The manager even came over a few times checking in. Making sure everything was going well. The food was immaculate. It was like being teleported to the shores of Greece. Whether celebrating an occasion or just dining with friends this experience is one for the books. You won't be disappointed.

3 weeks agoAmmoora is, without a doubt, one of the best, if not the best, dining experiences Iโve had anywhere in the world, surpassing even many Michelin-rated restaurants Iโve visited globally. It is seriously THAT good. First of all; from the moment you step inside, you are enveloped in this beautifully curated ambiance. The decorโdown to every last detailโfrom the lighting fixtures to the plush pillowsโ is carefully curated and the space feels both luxurious and intimate. As you make your way towards reflection room in front of the fountained courtyard, itโs easy to forget youโre in the heart of the city. It is like you are walking next to a lush oasis in a Levantine palace with the view of the restaurantโs beautiful outdoors space. But what truly sets Ammoora apart was the food. I mean, every single dish was a hit, and we found ourselves vying for the last bite of each course. As a group of four, we started with the spread sampler, zaโatar burrata, and kebbet kiraz. For the main courses, we had the braised lamb and short rib freekeh. The desserts were: baklawa, laymouniye, ashta bil asal, chocolate tart, and a brรปlรฉed creation that I canโt remember the name of. Each was more delicious than the last but oh myโฆ The chocolate tart. One of my friends said, โI almost cried after the first bite of my lamb,โ and I can honestly say I felt the same with the chocolate tart; I had to put my spoon down and take a moment to just appreciate how delicious that dessert was. Paired with Arabic coffee, and some cocktails (Ambar Sunbeam!! & Old Fashioned Date), the meal in its entirety was PERFECT. Balanced and rich and gorgeously presented, there were absolutely 0 flaws in any of the food and my other three friends were in agreement. Last but not least; The service was impeccable. It was a dinner for a birthday celebration, so they surprised me with a glass of some delicious, fruity champagne and a small baklawa sampler, which was such a thoughtful touch that made the evening more special for us. The floor manager was incredibly attentive and gracious, ensuring that our entire table had an exceptional time the whole time. Every server was friendly and prompt, and provided excellent service. While Ammoora isnโt inexpensive, itโs worth every single penny and you eat so well. The portions are perfect for the price. This will undoubtedly become my go-to spot for anniversaries and special celebrations moving forward. Honestly, I am contemplating going maybe next week again and have been looking for excuses to go to Baltimore. That chocolate tartโฆ
