Amy’s Kebab

I tried the mixed platter with all the meats, and it didn’t have as much flavor as at other places. The kitchen kabob was decent, but the chicken shawarma was overly spiced—maybe too much turmeric or curry, nor sure of what spice it was over powering the chicken. The beef was bland and unremarkable, and they could lighten up on the salad dressing. The rice was fine, but overall, the dish lacked flavor. The hummus was really good, but the flatbread, which resembled a tortilla, became hard once it cooled down. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t come back.

Originally I thought the restaurant name could no way equal good Mediterranean- Amy is the lady who runs the school PTO. But boy was I wrong! Never judge a book by its name. Going through construction so ambiance wasn’t great but I don’t really care. I came for the food. Did not disappoint, delicious, well seasoned and great red and white…pictured- kefta and steak

The food and service were beyond spectacular! One of the best Mediterranean foods I’ve ever had. The portions were large and you could taste the quality in their foods!

Wow oh wow! The food is outstanding! I drive 40 minutes from Skokie to come here because the food is so good. So flavorful, so juicy and so perfect. Andy is so friendly and knows how to cook! The beef kabob filet is so tender, the shawarma is so flavorful and the chicken kabob so juicy! Their fattoush is also delicious. A little sweetness, a little sour and a lot of crunch from the bread! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The best middle eastern food around. They recently remodeled and the place looks amazing. We dined in and had a great experience and the staff is so pleasant. I highly recommend if you want some good middle eastern to go to Amy’s Kebab!!!
