in the last weekA very nice halal Mediterranean restaurant in Austin. There is plenty of seating, can probably support up to 100 people. There is no formal wait staff and you have to order at the front desk. Food was generally good and tasty, especially the gyro and grilled chicken.

3 months agoTasty Baklava Thought I'd give this Mediterranean a try. The restaurant isn't located in the most appealing location in town and the little strip mall is a bit sketchy, but once inside you get a cool Greek vibe. Low light and a cushioned floor seating area. Be advised you'll need to call ahead to sit in this area. The restaurant has a wide variety of foods, I had the mixed kabob plate, it was on par with what I've had at other Mediterranean restaurants, that said the tzatziki sauce was better than average. After dinner decided to give the baklava a try. They have 3 varieties, walnut, pistachio, and extra large pistachio. I went with the regular pistachio. I was unexpectedly surprised with the taste. It was just right, not overly sweet with good flavor. It was the highlight of the meal. Will have to go back and try the pizza and wings. I caught a glimpse of the pizza and it looked rather good.

2 months agoWe got to experience Arpeggio grill while visiting Austin. The ambiance of this restaurant is incredible. Thereโs plenty of room. Thereโs a really nice seating arrangement on the floor. But we were not able to use it as it was reserved. We ordered chicken and beef shawarmaโs, kebab platter, cheese and meat lovers pizza. The food was freshly made. Overall, all the food was bland. The spice level was minimal. The pizza was good. The shawarmas were okay. we would have liked more flavor. It was an okay experience. The staff were nice. Do check them out.

in the last weekThis place has become a quick favorite around ACC Highland. It can be easy to miss but once youโre inside you are transported to the Mediterranean and the food is affordable, bountiful, and delicious! Iโve only gotten the lunch special since itโs such a steal. You order chipotle conveyor style and itโs fast service. My plate of sides and the chicken shawarma was $15 and this has become my go to lunch order.

a month agoIโve been here multiple times now and I love the food here. Granted Iโve only gotten a gyro every time but itโs delicious and i have a hard time getting anything else when I know I like something. I love the decor and feel of the restaurant as well. Itโs always been very relaxing and the artwork is great. The service is good as well.
